I have always loved the elegance of Japanese objects. The way they flow sloothly and are simple. I wanted to try and capture something like that in this piece while making it photorealistic. Not quite sure if anyone will mistake this for an actual photo but I tried. The sake jug was made from a simple line with a lathe modifier applied. The same technique was used for the little sake cups. The leaves were found around my house during the fall, scanned, adjusted in photoshop and then applied to a plane that was bent, twisted, and scaled. The walls are just planes with a transparent material and boxes positioned into place to make the braces. The floor is also a simple box that has a wooden floor material applied.
